Public ranking data stays public. Payment data stays private.
RankByBid publishes the destination, profile metadata, completed total, rank, move history, and click counts associated with a listing. It does not publish payer contact or billing information.
Information RankByBid receives
We receive the submitted public website or X profile, metadata read from that public destination, a payment email, Polar customer and order identifiers, completed amount, refund status, and the minimum technical records needed to prevent duplicate fulfilment and reconcile payments.
Payments
Polar processes checkout, tax, invoicing, and payment credentials as merchant of record. RankByBid does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes. Polar's own privacy terms apply to information entered in its checkout.
Traffic measurement
RankByBid records which public listing destination was opened and when, then publishes aggregated 24-hour and all-time click totals. The public board does not identify individual visitors.
Why records are retained
Order, webhook, refund, and ranking-effect records are retained to deliver the paid placement, answer support requests, prevent duplicate processing, reconcile refunds and chargebacks, detect abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
